General

  • Sprint and Release
    • This week's priorities: Last merges for updated RSpace and start testing, memory leak investigation in RNode, slashing implementation, merging updated proof-of-stake contract, and preparations for dev retreat next week.
    • Release - Work toward RNode v0.9.4. RNode-0.9.4 release plan.
  • Mercury requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Testnet status
    • Testnet-1 is live. Our intention is to keep this functioning so the community can deploy rholang to this public testnet. Please see RChain public testnet information to learn more about public testnet as well as a FAQ.
  • Community testing
    • Thursdays at 14:00 UTC. 

Consensus

  • Work in progress to deliver slashing functionality.

Cost accounting

  • Completing work to update the proof-of-stake contract to use the RevVault.  RCHAIN-3136 - Getting issue details... STATUS
  • Reviewing work required to bridge cost accounting and the wallet especially estimation of time required as some of this work blocks the launch of testnet-2.  RCHAIN-3135 - Getting issue details... STATUS

RNode

  • Work in review to optimize node peering.  RCHAIN-3305 - Getting issue details... STATUS
  • Work started on   RCHAIN-3328 - Getting issue details... STATUS

RSpace

  • Taking next steps to support running new RSpace RNode and test in our development testnet.
  • Investigation of bloat in the tuplespace related to Rholang. We had preliminary discussions about this this week and plan to discuss more during next week's dev retreat.  RCHAIN-3334 - Getting issue details... STATUS

SRE 

  • Investigation in progress related to memory issues observed in nodes in CI and testnet. RCHAIN-3335 - Getting issue details... STATUS
  • Testnet support: Maintaining the network while managing memory issues. 
  • CI Upgrading Drone
  • Whiteblock: Good progress this week in the effort to deploy an automated test in the Whiteblock infrastructure. https://github.com/rchain/whiteblock/
