  • Medha
    • Working with Jeremy on metrics
    • Working on performance test
    • Great progress during node testing this week.  We had 15 peers connected, and we were able to reproduce the non-deterministic behavior.
    • Cut RNode 0.5.3
  • Rholang team:
    • Improving pattern matching to include stable marriage algorithm.  Expect that initial PR will be cut tomorrow.
    • Cost accounting in matcher in review.  Including interactions within RSpace.  
    • Updating our wiki documentation for the Interpreter and Cost Accounting.
    • Working on optimizing the fetching of block dependencies by using doubly linked DAG
    • PoS contract in the RChain state
    • Including sender info in block api
    • Formalized spec for SPV proofs in Casper.
    • Further work on the Registry Design.
    • Writing Pseudocode on how the Rev transfer contracts are going to work.
    • Working on the security of purses, and what will be needed for contract deployments
  • Storage/Node team:
    • Suspect that we may be swallowing LMDB exceptions. Resulting in non-deterministic behaviors.
    • Created libsodium project in Sonaltype - 
    • Block storage implementation in review.
    • Added additional integration tests to cover deploy and propose, the tests were failing silently.
    • Kademlia refactor will likely take place on a feature branch, to reduce risk to milestones.
    • Implementing the rNode configuration file.  This file will help simplify the rNode start command.
    • Building Metrics dashboards in Grafana.
  • Roscala team: 
    • Rosette object import -Added a bunch of objects, it's time to cut a PR, or perhaps several.  Needs to properly account for inherited objects, will require some refactoring. 
    • Parallelization, continued work on the PR
  • Website - https://developer.rchain.coop 
    • The site is updated with the RNode user guide and installation information for RNode v0.5.3 today
    • RHOC holders should sign up to receive updates when https://developer.rchain.coop/token-swap updates. This is the official and only place announcements related to the swap will be published. Sign up to receive an email when the page updates.
  • Validators
    • We need validators to participate in the launch of testing during RCon3. Please see the validator page on the dev site (https://developer.rchain.coop/validation) and register your interest. We will be contacting people using this list early next week with information for how to participate as a validator for the testnet launch at RCon3.
  • RCon3
    • We are looking for volunteers who are in Berlin and are able to attend local tech meet ups between now and RCon3 to help market the event. If you are interested, please contact events@pyrofex.net.
    • The is another opportunity to apply for a scholarship! The deadline for scholarship application submissions was July 20, 2018. People who submitted applications and met the eligibility requirements each received 100% funding (registration, travel, and lodging) to attend RCon3. After making these awards, there was still money available in the scholarship fund. The RChain scholarship committee is pleased to announce another opportunity for people to submit applications for scholarships! https://developer.rchain.coop/rcon3-scholarship
    • Registration is open at https://developer.rchain.coop/conference. There is an early-bird special for registrations made before July 31. There is also a special rate for students.
