General

• Sprint and Release

  • 2-week sprint ends April 29. Priorities: Finish fixing CasperTests for cost accounting, convert to updated RSpace, launch of Testnet-2, and work on Casper to support slashing.

  • RNode v0.9.3 releasing this week. RNode-0.9.3 release plan.

• Mercury requirements and acceptance criteria

• Testnet status

  • Testnet-1 is live. Our intention is to keep this functioning so the community can deploy rholang to this public testnet. Please see RChain public testnet information to learn more about public testnet as well as a FAQ.

• Community testing

  • Thursdays at 14:00 UTC. With the public testnet-1 live, we plan to reboot testnet with RNode v0.9.3 and test recent changes.

Consensus

• Work in progress to fix IgnoreableEquivocation error showing up on testnet. One PR in and one open.https://rchain.atlassian.net/browse/RCHAIN-3115

• PR open to fix InvalidRepeatDeploy observed on testnet. https://rchain.atlassian.net/browse/RCHAIN-3244

• Work in progress to investigate failure to receive genesis block observed on testnet. Currently two PRs in that add debugging support in Casper to support the investigation.  https://rchain.atlassian.net/browse/RCHAIN-3218

Cost accounting

• Work in progress to update Casper test-suite and system contracts to allow completion of cost-accounting to come into the codebase. https://rchain.atlassian.net/browse/RCHAIN-3135

• Demo today of cost accounting functionality.

RNode

• Significant work completed last week and going into the RNode v0.9.3. Expect to see this help address peering issues observed in testnet.

RSpace

• The long-term fix development work is complete and work now to bring the changes into the codebase. See https://rchain.atlassian.net/browse/RCHAIN-3138 for more details. Next steps will be to bring similar changes to replay.

SRE 

• Testnet support: Currently working on completing dashboard. RCHAIN-3054

• CI Addressing CI issues.

• REV issuance Work in progress to update script for pulling RHOC balances from Ethereum, standing up an ETH node to support this effort, and testing the genesis ceremony with the inclusion of RHOC balances. https://rchain.atlassian.net/browse/RCHAIN-2982

Wallet

• With the completion of the wallet implementation, the team is now working on hardening of this feature. Plan in place to address https://rchain.atlassian.net/browse/RCHAIN-3203.
