Community Update 18

Medha

• rNode 0.2.1 has been released!

• RSpace 0.1 released - available and on Sonaltype

• Node 0.3 release date set - May 3rd, 2018.

• Medha is working on Node 0.4 and Node 0.5 

Rholang team:

• Work has started on a prototype implementation of Consensus.

  • Message protobufs specified, Pull Request open

  • Work plan is in place

• Fixing bugs in the interpreter

• Discussions around cost model later today

Node team:

• Focusing on Node API

• Adding features to support production engineers.

• Node Powerbox is done, Rholang has access to STDOUT and STDERR channels

Rosette team: 

• Working on the last few OpCodes

• Building human readable specification, discovered requirement around continuations and immutable data structures.  We will need to adjust our translation to address.

• Date remains end of May for transition function.
