  • Medha

    •  

      • Node 6 Specification in flight.

      • Team needs a board decision regarding validator rewards.

        • We have currently specified that validators will receive transaction fees only.

        • Will validators receive additional rewards? If so, where will those rewards come from?  What is the size of the reward?  How frequently is it distributed?

        • Timing is urgent, as we would like to have these answers for prospective validators at testnet launch.

  • Rholang team:

    • Deterministic unforgeable names is in progress.  On track.

    • Integrated Casper with RSpace  

    • Implementing support for ETH addresses (secp256K1 for Rholang)

    • Specification for Validators signing genesis block is done. 

    • Casper, implementing the blessed Rev contract.

  • Storage/Node team:

    • Storage - Execution traces and replay delivered to Casper team.  

    • Documenting storage functionality.

    • Issue in p2p layer identified.  Fix was tested during node testing on Tuesday.  We will be patching Node 4 as well as including the fix in Node 5.

    • We will be holding node tests every Tuesday morning at 7 am PDT.  Join us in the node-testing Discord channel.

  • Roscala team: 

    • Primitives work under way

    • Working through bugs on the threading implementation.  

    • Object code import into Rosette in flight, working on the linking the objects to the Codebuf.  Looks like the PR will be pretty large.  Coming today.

    • Working on the MBoxes implementation in the Actor system.

    • Work in progress to improve content. Feedback is welcome.
