  • Medha
    • Node 6 is in development
    • Planning out the remainder of work for Mercury, adding the items to the sprint backlogs
  • Rholang team:
    • PR Cut for Proof of Stake contract 
    • Clear RSpace replay space
    • Checked that we get the correct genesis block.
    • We are enhancing locally free so that it tracks what is locally free at the outermost level.  It doesn't match properly in a pattern with a locally free variable.
    • Cost accounting in Reducer and Substitution is merged.  Working on matcher.  Code is mostly done, now focusing on tests.
    • We found another non-deterministic bug in the genesis block during Node testing, PR cut to fix it.
    • Found another non-deterministic bug.  Investigating.
  • Storage/Node team:
    • Working in memory implementation of block storage for testing
    • This week's  20180717 RNode community testing was fruitful, we were able to demonstrate calling a remote server to deploy a contract.
    • We are creating a configuration file for RNode, to simplify the run command.  
    • RNode now prints out a Git version at startup.
  • Roscala team: 
    • Rosette object import - Need to handle the meta and parent objects differently.  They are looped, need some loop detection, the objects reference themselves during import.  His loop detection will identify that the object has already been imported.
    • Creating the test set for enabled-set. 
  • Website - https://developer.rchain.coop 
    • The site is updated with the RNode user guide and installation information for RNode v0.5
    • The Rholang tutorial was updated with last week's release of RNode v0.5. This includes new examples and clarifications.
    • A new Rholang document, Clarifications on Pattern-Matching is now available. 
  • Validators
  • RCon3
    • We are looking for volunteers who are in Berlin and are able to attend local tech meet ups between now and RCon3 to help market the event. If you are interested, please contact events@pyrofex.net.
    • Registration is open at https://developer.rchain.coop/conference. There is an early-bird special for registrations made before July 31. There is also a special rate for students.
