The information on this page is for people who will help launch and validate on the RChain public testnet.
Requirements for being a testnet launcher and validator
We invite members of the RChain community to participate in launching and validating starting with the Testnet-2 phase of the RChain public testnet. Please see RChain public testnet information for more information about the public testnet.
We will publish more specific requirements for participating as a testnet launcher and validator on this page as it becomes available. At minimum you should be prepared to install, run, operate, and maintain a RNode. Please see User guide for running RNode for more information. Also, consider participating in RChain community RNode testing to help you get started with RNode.
System requirements
Memory requirements
Run RChain software on a machine that has at least 16 GB of RAM, and preferably 32 GB RAM, to support node operation and participation in performance tests.

Please see RNode supported network configuration for information on configuring your network to connect to the RChain network.
