  • Testnet-1 is live. Our intention is to keep this functioning so the community can deploy rholang to this public testnet. Please see RChain public testnet information to learn more about public testnet as well as a FAQ.

Risks to code completion for Mercury

• Addition of work in Rholang to address bloat in the tuplespace.

Consensus

• On track to open all PRs needed for bonding/unbonding Rholang methods by the end of this sprint
• Work to deliver peek revealed an alternative proposal (see Block merging - conflict resolution - peek). This requires additional research and is not likely something we would be able to provide for the first Mercury release.

Rholang

• Debugging 5 failing casper tests related to cost-accounting, this is down from 30. Once done, next steps will be doing the refund and preparing a demo.
• PR in review to complete delivery of on-chain deployer ID to the REV_Vault.

RNode

   so that RNode operators can use a password protected key pair anytime a key is needed.
• Node and SRE teams taking next steps on the investigation of testnet issues observed late last week and through the weekend. The issues included nodes stopping without warning and not related to errors that would generate heap dumps at the time of death.
  • Current effort is to make use of changes delivered earlier this week to provide more frequent heap dumps and measures and try to reproduce the scenario.

RSpace

• PR in review to deliver peek to Rholang.
• Work in progress to add more spans to RSpace as well as in other components with a goal of providing a more complete look at the platform. This instrumentation of the code will support optimization work for RSpace.

SRE

• Work blocked to deliver hardening testing scenario. Time planned to discuss with dev team.
• On-going support for public testnet and releases.
