Rholang Sprint 5 Retrospective
Rholang Sprint 5 Retrospective
Retrospective
What did we do well?
- Medha Parlikar (Unlicensed): We managed to get the release ready and integrated.
- Kyle Butt: glad that we had acceptance tests written, and verified that the tests ran fine.
- Medha Parlikar (Unlicensed): Former user (Deleted) and Henry Till worked well together to get the tuplespace integrated.
- Medha Parlikar (Unlicensed): We exceeded our plans for the release. We can support more than the SDK release. But we can't support the complete Mercury grammar.
What should we have done better?
- Medha Parlikar (Unlicensed): Lack of specification for integrating the REPL into the node, Chris's departure resulted in a last minute drop of the work into Pawel's lap.
- Medha Parlikar (Unlicensed): Persistence flag was a miss, and Henry had to drop his Storage work to get it done.
- Medha has specified the next release, performing spec and ticket review on Thursday to estimate and set dates.
- Kyle Butt: We were missing a task to make the CLI accept file names and not just a REPL. This led to not running the Mercury tutorial tests.

Action Items
- Medha Parlikar (Unlicensed): Review node-0.3 Release Plan with Kyle, Henry and Pawel.
- Kyle Butt: Create a ticket for native processes in the interpreter for the time being. There isn't any way to have system processes in the system. Ambient Authority to print on a public name.
