    • Growth of development team - Three developers joining this month. Others in the pipeline.
    • We are hiring System Administrators, to support the launch of test net and main net.

  • Rholang team:
    • The team continues work this week to develop features in the storage layer to support consensus. These features will be a part of the RNode v0.5 release.
    • Refactoring of the interpreter to a tagless final style is complete.
    • Implementing logical connectives 'AND' in Rholang, sorter and grammar are updated.  Matcher is in progress
  • Node team:
    • Prototyping the Merkle Patricia tree for the blockchain - expect to have a prototype done this week.
    • Implementation of TCP in communications is under way.
    • Metrics work for Node 0.4 is under way.
    • Continuous integration enhancements are in progress this week as we work to improve the testing infrastructure and better support the dev team's work with reduced build times and better support for concurrency.
  • Rosette team: 
    • Last we we reported on research in progress on how to re-architect the VM. The challenge was a constraint that required the code to be purely functional. The team couldn't find a way to translate it efficiently to a purely functional program, so we're relaxing that constraint in a few select places.

    • Interactive Rholang tutorial is available. Thanks to Thomas Shoffelen for building the tutorial and his collaboration with Ahsan Fazal for the work on the web-based Rholang compiler.
    • Latest releases are available along with documentation - tutorials and links to the software. 
    • Please file bugs in Jira.  We now have an open source license, you can create an account if you wish, and file bugs, get informed of updates, etc..

    • Event is Sept. 3-6, 2018 in Berlin. Sept. 3&4 are invitation-only. Sept. 5&6 are open to everyone
